What does a writer do?
As your writer, it’s Bumbershoot’s responsibility to take your ideas and put them into a coherent, easy-to-understand format that helps your audience accomplish what you want them to do. Many companies don’t have the training, the inclination, and/or the in-house staff to handle the volume and variety of documents they need to create and distribute every day, and that’s okay. A freelance writer can get the job done for you at a reasonable price and without your having to hire another full-time person. After an initial project discussion, Bumbershoot continues to work closely with you to ensure that what you mean to say is what does get said in the finished products, each and every time.
Your writing package includes:
- An initial meeting to discuss your specific needs for the project (i.e. content, timeline, scope, audience, etc.).
- A draft for you to review and make any changes you feel are necessary.
- A revised version that includes the changes you want made so you can review it again. Any further changes or additional content must be negotiated for unless specified in the original contract.
