(an amphion)

The demons wait inside your mind
Until the night
When lost is sight
And balance you can never find
Then hell breaks loose
You blow a fuse
And enter proudly they do come
What can you do
With options few
You wilt and then your thoughts go numb

Is there a haven you can find
Where you can go
Protected know
The demons spooled they will unwind
Far from grief
You’ll turn a leaf
And they will flee their harbor firm
Not likely so
As they well know
They’ll linger there to make you squirm
